Effective on January 1, 2024

INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy explains how Lobox collects, uses, and shares personal information. Lobox is committed to protecting the privacy of its users and external users.

EXPLICIT CONSENT

User consent is required when processing data with user permission. Users can revoke their consent at any time, but this does not affect the legality of the processing of personal data before the revocation. For the User Agreement to be effective, users must consent to the processing of their personal data. "Legitimate interests" are considered a legal basis for data processing when it does not infringe on the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the user.

External users registered with Lobox can share their professional identities, connect with their networks, share experiences and professional insights, post content, and find job and career opportunities. Registration with Lobox constitutes becoming a "user." Accessing or using Lobox's services without registration constitutes being an "external user." Some services and data are also accessible to users.

The Privacy Policy is applicable to all services offered by Lobox. Accessing services as an "external user" or using services as a "user" implies that individuals accept and understand their personal information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy and the Community Policies. Additionally, these individuals consent to the collection, storage, use, and sharing of their personal information by Lobox. Lobox’s collection, processing, and sharing of personal data are based on lawful grounds, including consents, contracts, and "legitimate interests." Users who have consented to the processing of their personal data by Lobox have the right to withdraw or revoke this consent at any time. If data processing is based on legitimate interests, users have the right to object.

For questions regarding the legal bases for the collection and use of personal data, one can contact the Data Protection Officer.

Everyone who benefits from and accesses Lobox's services is considered to have accepted any changes to these privacy policy provisions in advance.

Lobox may change this privacy policy at any time. When Lobox makes significant changes to this privacy policy, it will notify users through the services or publish the changes, effective not retroactively. If users object to any changes, they can close their Lobox account or terminate their access to Lobox services and stop using them. Continuing to use the services after Lobox has published or sent a notification of the changes implies acceptance of the updated terms from the date they take effect.

This privacy policy is valid only for Lobox services, even if links to other websites are included. The services may contain links to other websites not operated or controlled by Lobox. Lobox is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or opinions expressed on such websites.

Lobox does not investigate, monitor, or check for completeness of any other website. If a user accesses another website using a link, the Lobox Privacy Policy ceases to be applicable as navigating and interacting on other websites, including those linked within Lobox, are subject to that website's own rules and policies. These sites may use their cookies, bots, or other methods to collect information.

When there is a third-party connection involving a Lobox user, third parties can view data, information, applications, and other product services that may be made available by Lobox or could be accessed via links to third-party websites or services. Lobox disclaims any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, currency, legality, honesty, quality, or any other aspect of these third-party services. Lobox does not undertake any obligation or liability towards you or any other person or organization regarding any third-party service. Third-party services and links provided solely for the convenience of users or external users are at the users' or external users' risk under the terms and conditions of the third parties. Options for the collection, use, and sharing of personal data, including deletion or modification of user accounts and visibility of postings, advertising preferences, and communication controls, are provided by Lobox to users or external users. Users or external users have the opportunity to control and manage their personal data known to Lobox. More information can be found on our help page.

DEFINITIONS

For the clearest possible understanding and to facilitate the application of this privacy policy, the following terms will be strictly defined as follows:

Cookie: A small amount of data created by a website and saved by your web browser. It is used to identify the browser, provide analytics, and remember information about the user or external user such as language preferences or login details.

Lobox: A platform offering a variety of services and content, accessible online, whose terms of use are determined and managed by IT&T Corporation. In this policy, "Lobox" refers to the entity responsible for your information under this privacy policy.

User: Any real or legal person who registers to use any facility offered by the Lobox application, including Lobox-branded applications and sites, communication tools, and advertisements related to Lobox or with Lobox extensions such as "Share with Lobox" and "Apply with Lobox."

External User: Any real or legal person who uses the services offered by the Lobox application or accesses the Lobox application without registration. Certain services allowed by the Lobox application are open to users.

Device: Any device such as a phone, tablet, computer, or any device connected to the internet that can be used to visit Lobox and use its services.

Personal Data/Information: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, but is not limited to, personal identification numbers of real persons who use, access, or benefit from the Lobox application in any way, as well as identities, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, the units of the Lobox application visited, domain type, electronic browser type, date and time of visit, etc.

Services: The Lobox application and Lobox branded applications, other sites, applications, communication tools, and advertisements associated with the Lobox application, "Share with Lobox" and "Apply with Lobox" extensions, and all other services offered under this agreement, including data collection processes.

In the Lobox application, unlike existing applications and platforms, a "calendar module" is provided to users. Users within the Lobox environment can use this module to schedule meetings with any natural or legal person, as well as integrate the meetings planned on other calendar platforms (such as Google, Outlook, Apple) into the Lobox calendar module, thereby consolidating them in a single location (within the Lobox application). Users of the Lobox application can create tasks on any subject, assign tasks to other users, assign tasks to themselves, or create reminder notes.

In daily life, the calendar module can display many events that require knowledge of dates, such as birthdays, anniversaries, meetings, appointments, national and religious holidays, commemoration and celebration days, and the birthdays of other users on the Lobox application. Consequently, a user can send congratulations to other users. Within the "calendar module," a user can make their own hourly schedules and convey these plans to other users via messages, email, or links through any communication tool within the Lobox application. At the end of this process, the scheduled meetings or appointments are logged into the "calendar module" at the set date and time. Additionally, a user can track every stage of job applications within the job module of the Lobox application. When the company to which the application was made has a request from the user, this request is indicated in the "follow-up" area or the user is informed about this request via a message.

In the Lobox application, news can be created via the company portal, and articles can be created through the company or user portals. The relevant companies or users can benefit from such news and articles through a "paid subscription" model. Users can share the aforementioned news or articles without the obligation to post them as "posts," instead, they can share them through likes or comments via buttons located beneath the detailed name. Objects found within the "discover module" of the Lobox application or parts belonging to another module can be recommended by users to other individual users or all users collectively. A user can recommend content from their own profile or any content within the Lobox application in the "discover" section or any other module to other users.

Third Party: Refers to all other individuals besides the user and external user in relation to Lobox.

Website: The site accessible via the URL provided by Lobox. Link outside the box | Lobox

Link: Connections that enable access from Lobox to other internet sites, files, or content; or from other content, files, or internet sites to Lobox.

Content: Any type of published or accessible information, files, images, programs, numbers, etc., visual, written, and auditory representations on Lobox or any other internet site.

Data Protection Officer: Lobox. Lobox is responsible for controlling personal data provided by the user or external user or collected or processed by Lobox.

Legitimate Interest: The legal benefit that the data controller achieves from the data processing. This serves as a legal basis.

Note that Lobox provides its users and external users with numerous options regarding the collection, use, and sharing of data, including the deletion or amendment of user profiles, the visibility of posts, advertising preferences, and communication controls. Control over personal information on Lobox rests with the user or external user, who can manage settings accordingly.

WHAT INFORMATION DOES LOBOX COLLECT?

Lobox collects names, surnames, email addresses, mobile phone numbers, password information, credit or debit card information, billing information, education, work experiences, skills, photos, city or region, and consents. If synchronized, it also collects address books and contact lists, information on individuals automatically added to the application’s address book by service providers, as well as calendar and meeting information, and other necessary information. To learn more about the information or resources collected by Lobox, one can refer to the CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY RIGHTS NOTICE.

In Lobox services, personal data is collected when a form is filled out, a survey is answered, a resume is uploaded, or a job application form is completed. Additionally, it is up to the users whether they choose to provide extra and sensitive information in their profiles. Users, or third parties, can share content containing personal data as an article, post, comment, or video clip in Lobox services. If allowed in user settings, Lobox can use the "mentioned in news" feature to send notifications to other users as part of Lobox services and collect publicly accessible information such as professional content related to the user or achievements.

When third parties who sync their contacts or calendars with Lobox services scan and upload a business card, or send messages including requests for invitations and connections using Lobox services, certain personal information about the user is collected. If users or third parties sync their email accounts with Lobox services, email headers are also collected. When services that provide employment application data, such as employee candidates or application tracking systems, are used, personal data of the user is collected. When a service offered by Lobox or one of its affiliated companies is used, related data is collected. Lobox collects personal data when Lobox services and platform technologies are visited, or when content and advertisements within or outside of the site and applications are viewed or clicked on, a search is conducted, a mobile application is installed, an article is shared, or a job posting is applied to.

Lobox also collects data on session cookies, device information, and Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses.

As stated in the Cookie Policy, data is collected to determine whether the user or the user's device is active. When users interact with Lobox services, cookies, pixels, advertising tags, etc., are used across different services and devices to identify the user. As the Cookie Policy states, the use of cookies by certain other elements is also permitted. Additionally, for purposes related to ad targeting and other advertisements, the use of cookies and similar technologies that track user behavior on other sites can be disabled. Settings related to this are adjusted here.

When a user visits Lobox services or logs out, the URLs of the sites the user came from to the Lobox application or went to from the Lobox application, as well as the visit time, location (prior consent is required for access to GPS or other tools for location determination), IP address, proxy server, web browser and add-ons, device identifiers and features, cookie IDs, and/or personal data found on the Internet service provider or mobile line are also collected by Lobox.

Lobox collects personal data when a message is sent, received, or associated with the user in connection with Lobox services. To support and protect the website, suggest possible responses to messages, and manage or block content that violates the User Agreement or Community Policies, Lobox plans to use automated scanning technology.

If Lobox is purchased by an employer (such as contact information for managers and authorized users) or for user use by a school, the person or institution making the purchase reports to Lobox certain personal information related to the user and the privileges to use the services purchased for employees, students, or alumni. Lobox collects personal data during visits and interactions with third-party sites and services where Lobox is logged in, or during visits and interactions with other services containing plugins (such as "Apply with Lobox"), advertisements, cookies, or similar technologies.

HOW DOES LOBOX USE THE COLLECTED DATA?

How Lobox uses personal data related to a user or an external user depends on the services used by the user or external user, how these services are utilized, and the preferences set in the settings. Information collected from users or external users may be used in accordance with the following methods:

  • To improve Lobox: The personal data of the user or external user, including general feedback, can be used to provide better service to users, external users, or third parties, to offer a more intuitive and personalized experience, to increase user engagement, to facilitate connections among professionals, or to help find economic opportunities.

  • To enhance Lobox support: Personal data are used to investigate, resolve, and respond to complaints and issues related to services.

  • To personalize Lobox services: Personal data can be used by Lobox to better meet the individual needs of the user. Lobox uses personal data to authorize access to services and implement user settings. Personal data are also used to suggest skills that might be added to the user's profile for the next job opportunity. When a user informs Lobox of a new skill, this information is used to personalize content in the feed, to help the user acquire new skills, or to suggest following certain users on the Lobox application or watching relevant training content.

For connecting users with others, personal data are used by Lobox to provide a current flow of information during connections, tailored to the preferences and settings of the parties involved. Lobox helps third parties find the user, suggests connections related to the user, and uses personal data to assist the user in sending invitations for connections. Additionally, if permitted, Lobox uses personal data regarding the exact location of the user or their proximity to others to facilitate connections with nearby users or to calculate travel time for a new job, or to inform user connections of attendance at a professional event.

When a user invites another person to connect, the invitation includes basic network and profile information. Lobox sends reminder notifications about the invitation to the invited person. The user can choose to share or not share their connection list with their connections. Users have various options regarding how their data are used. Lobox uses personal data belonging to the user to recommend the user to job postings or recruitment specialists, or to showcase professionals related to the person. Lobox automatically updates to serve its users and external users more appropriately.

Lobox, with user consent, may use "bots" or similar tools that facilitate tasks such as scheduling meetings, drafting responses, summarizing messages, or suggesting next steps, accompanied by personal data. As long as user settings allow and with the user's consent, third parties can export limited information from the user profile, such as name, title, current company, job title, or general location, to manage sales opportunities or talent programs. Premium service users can store resumes, contact information, or sales information about other users in the Premium service. Stored information is subject to the privacy and other policies of the relevant user.

Lobox communicates with the user and external user through emails, mobile phones, platform or application notifications, and services sent to the inbox. It also communicates through network updates, reminders, job posting suggestions, promotional messages from Lobox and its business partners, and other reported methods regarding how to use these services, security, or other service-related topics. The user or external user can change their communication preferences at any time, but cannot opt out of receiving security and legal notifications.

Advertisements are created for the user, external user, and others within and outside of these services, including their individual or combined use or through various business partners. These include data from advertising technologies such as pixels, advertising tags, cookies, and device identifiers within and outside of the services, data generated by the use of the services, information from advertising providers and partners, publishers, and the use of job titles in profiles to extract industry, seniority, and salary level information, graduation dates to extract age information, the use of names to extract gender information, the use of stream activities to extract information about interests, or the use of device information to recognize the user.

Sponsored or unsponsored advertisements are shown to the user or external user by Lobox. If the user or external user engages with these ads through liking, commenting, or sharing, this activity is associated with the user. Activities such as liking, commenting, and sharing by others, including the advertiser, can be viewed. Lobox respects your preferences regarding ads created based on interests. Lobox supports the user or external user in opting out of such ads. This preference does not mean that the user opts out of receiving ads. To stop seeing ads related to themselves, users can disable the use of their data, especially in certain categories. Users can access these settings here.

There are some restrictions on the sharing of personal information between advertisers and recipients. The limits on identifying personal data can vary from country to country. Sharing can occur if the user consents and the data are public when dealing with hashed IDs or device identifiers. When a user interacts with an ad, the providers presenting the ad can receive a signal that the user visited the related page when they view the ad or can detect that the person is a Lobox user using mechanisms like cookies. Advertisers can associate personal information directly obtained from the user with hashed identities or device identifiers obtained from Lobox’s advertising partners. In this case, the advertising partners are required to obtain the user’s consent through a contract before doing so.

Lobox uses personal data for marketing purposes to promote Lobox services to the user and others. Additionally, Lobox uses users' data and content not just for service advertisements but also for communications and interactions that enhance user engagement and network size. Personal data are also used by Lobox to research social, economic, and workplace trends such as job opportunities or the skills needed for these jobs and to bridge gaps across various sectors and geographical areas. Lobox sometimes conducts this research under privacy-preserving controls and may publish the economic gains achieved through this analysis collectively or allow others to publish them. Research and surveys can be conducted by Lobox as well as by others. The user and external user are not obligated to participate in research and surveys, and preferences related to surveys can always be changed.

Lobox uses personal data to generate general statistics about users' professions or industries, to calculate the visibility and click rates of ads, to publish the demographic distribution of visitors coming to a site for a service, or to generate a demographic workforce. Additionally, Lobox uses personal data for security, to investigate or prevent possible fraud or attempts to harm users, external users, or third parties, or to investigate such attempts.

Personal data can also be used to manage a contest, promotion, survey, or another platform feature. Periodic emails are sent using personal data. When a user submits their email address to Lobox, they agree to receive emails from Lobox.

The user can unsubscribe from any email list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the relevant email or another opt-out option. Lobox only sends emails to individuals who have consented to communication either directly or through a third party. No unwanted commercial emails are sent to the user. By submitting their email address to Lobox, the user also consents to Lobox using their email address to target customer audiences on sites that display specific ads to individuals who have chosen to receive communications from Lobox.

HOW DOES LOBOX SHARE PERSONAL DATA?

According to user settings, all personal data in the user profile, all content published by the user, actions such as liking, following, commenting, and sharing can be viewed by third parties. All users and users of services can fully view user profiles. Additionally, depending on user settings, they may be visible to third parties such as search engines inside or outside the services. The degree of connection between another user viewing the user profile, the subscriptions the user may have, the use of services, access to channels and types of searches, profile accessibility, and the visibility of specific areas on the user profile can be changed from user settings.

Lobox services allow information viewing and sharing through posts, likes, follows, and comments.

Users or external users can share posts such as updates, images, videos, or articles. Anyone can view and share this content anywhere. Users, external users, or third parties can find and view content shared publicly, such as names, photos, or publicly shared content. When a post is shared in a group, it can be seen by other members of the group.

Membership in groups is open to everyone according to settings and is part of the profile. All information shared through pages of companies or other organizations on Lobox services is displayed on that page, and third parties visiting that page can view this information. It is recommended to check your settings.

Users, external users, or third parties can follow an organization. Those who follow can be displayed as "followers" by the page owner. When a user's profile is visited, this visit is notified to the profile owner as a notification. When content is liked, reshared, or commented on, others can view it, and the name, profile, and photo of the user performing the action can be associated with this action. Depending on user settings, when a message is sent, the user to whom the message was sent is informed when the user takes an action related to that message. Users are provided with information about these visits in numerical and proportional terms with a graphical interface when their profiles are visited.

Information about how employees use Lobox's services for work can be viewed by the employer, but the employer cannot see the user's job search actions or personal messages. Lobox requests the user's permission before sharing data related to profile or non-corporate service usage with the employer depending on the service or before using the service. The employer, while providing access to corporate services such as Editor, Recruiter, Service, Campaign, Education, Merchant to the employee, can also examine and manage how these services are used.

Depending on user settings, when workspace tools and services are used, data may be associated with a specific section open to employees' access or information obtained from the employer to activate these tools and services.

Users can view other services on their user profile depending on user settings. If the user connects with other services, personal data will become accessible to them. Approval will be obtained when accounts are linked for the use and sharing of personal data. Third-party services to which the user will be included have their own privacy policies. The user has the right to allow their personal data to be used in a way that Lobox does not use for other people. However, the connections established with accounts in this way can be canceled from settings at any time.

Certain sections of the user profile may also be visible in other services depending on the settings. However, changes made to profiles in these services will be visible until old profile information is updated in their data caches.

Lobox must work with other companies to provide its services. Lobox and these companies have access to the information they need, as in affiliated companies of Lobox, to work together or for these companies to transact on behalf of Lobox. However, these companies are obligated not to disclose this information they obtain or to use it for other purposes. Lobox can combine information from different services covered by this privacy policy.

Information about the user may be disclosed if a decision is made that it is necessary to disclose it in order to carry out legal processes such as court orders or legal proceedings, to investigate, eliminate, or intervene in suspected or actual unlawful actions, to assist official enforcement agencies, to implement agreements with the user, to defend Lobox against third-party requests or claims, to conduct research, to maintain the security or integrity of the service provided, to protect or enforce the rights, property, or safety of Lobox's users, employees, or other individuals. If deemed appropriate by Lobox, users are attempted to be informed about legal claims regarding personal information unless prohibited by laws or court orders or unless the request is urgent; however, Lobox is not obliged to object to every request. Detailed information can be found here.

If there is a sale, merger, or change of management related to Lobox or during the preparation stages of these events, personal information may be shared. The organization that acquires or partners with Lobox may continue to use the data as specified in this privacy policy unless otherwise stated.

Data can be used within and outside the United States borders according to legal mechanisms enabling international data transfer. The countries where the user's country processes data may have different laws, and these laws may not be as protective as the laws in the user's country. Personal data is not shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes without the user's permission, and information about "do not track" signals can be obtained from the Cookie Policy.

HOW DOES LOBOX STORE INFORMATION?

Due to legal or professional compliance reasons, some users or their employees may need to archive their communications and activities on social media. Users or their employees may use other services for this archiving process. For non-service users, Lobox recommends archiving messages.

Personal data, including data derived from or created by the use of Lobox services and other permissions given by the user or other individuals, is generally stored while the Lobox account is active or as long as Lobox needs to provide the service. If Lobox services are rarely used by the user, such as only for job searching every few years, the user's information is retained, and the account remains open unless the user closes it.

Lobox may still retain some information after an account is closed. After an account is closed by the user, personal data may be stored with the account name anonymized. When a user chooses to close their account, access to user services by other individuals is generally discontinued within 24 hours. Information related to the closed account is typically deleted within 30 days from the closure of the account, except in the following cases.

Even if a user closes their account, Lobox continues to store personal information if necessary to fulfill legal and regulatory obligations, resolve potential disputes, ensure security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce the User Agreement or subscription termination requests. However, non-personal information continues to be stored after the account is closed.

Even if an account is closed, information previously shared with others may still be viewed by those individuals after the user deletes that information from their profile or message box. Information copied by other users on Lobox cannot be controlled by Lobox. Content in groups related to closed accounts or ratings and evaluation content appears as an unidentified user. Profiles may continue to appear in other services such as search engines until their caches are updated.

HOW LONG DOES LOBOX STORE INFORMATION?

Lobox only retains information for as long as it is necessary to fulfill its applicable and active purposes or to enable enforcement and implementation, or as described in this policy. When information is no longer needed for use or when there is no need to store or protect information to comply with legal, regulatory obligations of Lobox, such information is removed from the system or depersonalized in a way that does not identify the user.

HOW DOES LOBOX PROTECT INFORMATION?

Personal information may be processed, transmitted, or accessed by users through the Lobox application. Various security measures are taken to protect the security of personal information in these cases.

Lobox provides users and external users with secure server usage. Through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, all sensitive credit information is transmitted, encrypted from payment gateway providers to the database, and accessible only by individuals who need to keep the information confidential and have special access rights to these systems. Private information is never stored in files after the transaction. Lobox does not guarantee or warrant that any information transmitted to Lobox is absolutely secure. Lobox cannot guarantee that user information will be inaccessible due to the breach of physical, technical, or managerial rules; that such information will never be disclosed; or that it will not be altered or destroyed.

Security measures such as HTTPS and other measures designed to protect data are implemented in Lobox. The Lobox system is regularly monitored for potential security vulnerabilities or attacks. However, Lobox cannot guarantee the security of any information. The guarantee is not that data cannot be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed through the breach of physical, technical, or administrative security measures. For more information about two-factor authentication, you can visit our help pages.

Cookies are used by Lobox to identify fields and personalize content when visiting the Lobox application. Personal identifying information is never placed in cookies. Users or external users can disable the use of cookies as they are set in this way. However, if a user or external user disables cookies, they may not be able to access Lobox services or access Lobox.

Lobox does not in any way address individuals under the age of 16, nor knowingly collect "personal" information from them.
